On the weekend of Aðril 10–13, for the first time, a film released by Luxor shot to the top of the CIS box office chart. This was Scar 3D, which started a week ago in 18th place on six screens and grossed $35,658. Scar’s total gross for 11 days was $1,378,840. The success of this thriller is due to the popularity in Russia of screenings with special glasses creating a 3D effect.
